Delores Aileen Lunsford nee Kirk, 86 of Pacific passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 in Pacific. Mrs. Lunsford, daughter of Esley Kirk and wife Lora nee Radford was born January 15, 1929 in St. Louis. On January 3, 1958 she was united in marriage to Archie Lunsford in St. Louis. Delores loved the Lord Jesus Christ and would not hesitate to tell you about him if you gave her the opportunity. She was a faithful member of Pacific Baptist Church. Her husband Archie was a Baptist minister and she served faithfully beside him as together they helped form and pastor several churches in the St. Louis and Pacific area. In 1986 she was instrumental in helping her husband and the late Don Brown of Pacific open the Agape Help House of Pacific. To this day it is a thriving ministry that serves Pacific and surrounding communities. Mrs. Lunsford was preceded in death by her parents, Esley and Lora Kirk; her husband Archie Lunsford; infant son Bobby Lunsford; twin granddaughters; infant great-grandson, Caleb Ball; three brothers, Jethro Kirk, Norman Kirk and Melvin Kirk and one sister, Pauline Lambert. She is survived by one son, Larry Lunsford of Arnold; three daughters, Kathy McElfresh and husband Gaylon of Villa Ridge, Rachel Tiehes and husband Mark of Lonedell and Rhonda Tiehes and husband Doug of Villa Ridge; two brothers, Gerald Kirk of St. Louis and Leon Kirk of Gray Summit; three sisters, Jean Daves of Bourbon, Evelyn Stewert and husband Mike of Sycamore, IL and Fern Ray of St. Clair; nine grandchildren, Timothy Anderson, Jeremiah Anderson, Benjamin Anderson and wife Valerie, Tracie Dattoli and husband Chris, Amanda Meggason and husband Fred, Matthew Tiehes and wife Bethany, Stephanie Helton and husband Robby, Amy Ball and husband Chris and Bradly Tiehes and wife Alex; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
