Delmar William Pruessner of Union, MO passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the age of 87 years.  He was born in Mexico, MO on October 4, 1937; the son of Walter Pruessner and his wife, Rose (Schroeder).

Delmar honorably served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1958.  He was united in marriage to Margie (Williams) on June 7, 1963, in St. Clair, MO and three children blessed their union.  He enjoyed his work as an over the road truck driver until his retirement in 2001.  Delmar was a car guy, and he loved Mustangs, especially his classic 1968.  He also enjoyed lawn care and taking care of his flowers.  Delmar loved spending time with his family and friends, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Delmar was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Rose Pruessner; one son, Greg Pruessner; two granddaughters, Ivy and Ellie Pruessner; and one sister, Wretha Birkmann.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Margie Pruessner of Union; one son, David Pruessner of St. Louis; one daughter, Kerri Pruessner of Union; two sisters, Jenell Parmentier of Union, and Betty Frick of New Haven; four grandchildren, Nicole (Weston DeClue) Pruessner, Gregory Scott Pruessner, Garrett Pruessner, and Frankie Phelps; two great-grandchildren, Thomas DeClue and Taylor DeClue; and many other relatives and friends.
