Debra Ann Atwell (Emily), 62, of St. Clair, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at her home.

On August 4, 1957 in St. Louis, Debra was born to the union of Abraham and Mary Emily.

Debra was united in marriage to John Atwell on October 2, 1989 in St. Louis.

She enjoyed playing games on the computer and spending time with her grandchildren. Most of all Debra loved her family.

Debra was preceded in death by her husband, John Atwell; her parents, Abraham and Mary Emily; two brothers, Eugene Emily and Joseph Emily; six sisters, Rebecca Emily, Clara Schneider, Sarah Eudaily, Patricia Emily, MaryAnn Brewer and Nancy Schneider; one grandson, Richard Floyd.

She is survived by six sons, Carry Mabe of St. Louis, Lonnie Mabe of St. Louis, Patrick Mabe and wife Michelle of St. James, Anthony Emily and wife Becky of Steelville, Richard Emily and wife Linda of St. James and Eugene Ellis of St. James; one daughter, Sharon Brice of Cuba; three brothers, Theodore Emily and wife Connie of Imperial, Wendell Emily and wife Marilyn of Potosi and Joseph Emily and wife Sue of Arnold; five sisters, Marie Hoff of De Soto, Rosemary O'Hara and husband Timothy of Dittmer, Alberta Sutton and husband Dave of St. Clair, Kimberly Emily of Bonne Terre and Linda Chaffin and husband Edward of Pacific; twenty-five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
