Deborah Ann Holden, age 77, of Lonedell, Missouri, passed away on July 6, 2026.
Deborah was born on February 14, 1949, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to Brady Mott Shoff and Dolores Vadine Pritchard. She graduated from College High School in Bartlesville in 1967 and continued her education at Northeastern State College, earning her master’s degree.
Deborah dedicated her career to education, working as a teacher at Northwest High School in Cedar Hill. She enjoyed reading, playing games and dice, fishing, and spending time with those she loved. She especially enjoyed strawberry margaritas. As a young girl she played the viola in her local high school and city orchestras.
On February 2, 2019, Deborah was united in marriage to Fareley Holden in Lonedell, Missouri at the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Fareley Holden of Lonedell; children and step-children, Michael Joy of Arnold, Jon Joy of Fenton, Mike (Patricia) Holden of St. Clair, Henry (Janna) Holden of Lonedell, Farrel (Renee) Holden of St. Clair, and Marilyn (John Engler) Holden of St. Clair; sisters, Gretchen Moser, Barbara Shoff and Mary Susan Shoff; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents; twin brother, Brian Shoff; brother, Richard Shoff; and sister, Stella Shoff and grandchildren Ashley Holden and Michael Holden Jr.
A celebration of Deborah’s life will be announced at a later date.
