Deborah Coyle (Hayward) of New Haven, MO was born May 23, 1942 in Providence, RI; the daughter of Carter Hayward and his wife, Elizabeth (Sherman). Deborah passed away due to complications from a fall on November 6, 2023 at the age of 81 years. She received her education from Naugatuck High School in 1960.
Deborah grew up in Connecticut, then moved to Los Angeles, CA where she met and married Jim Skinner, with whom she had two sons. In 1976, she married George Coyle and together they had two more sons. Deborah was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church in Leslie, MO and Faith Baptist Church in Washington, MO. She was also a member of the Spider Sniffers Club. Deborah was a third generation birder, a lover of the outdoors, and enjoyed travel - visiting numerous state and national parks with her family. She was also an avid reader, loved doing crossword puzzles, and enjoyed her many many many cats. The time Deborah cherished most was the time spent with her family and friends and she will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carter and Elizabeth "Betty" Hayward; her husband, George Coyle in 2017; and her former husband, Jim Skinner.
She is survived by four sons: Carter Skinner and wife Karen Wedekindt of Centreville, VA., Thom Skinner and wife Lori Facktor of Chantilly, VA., Jon Coyle and wife Angela Wampler of Anchorage, AK., and Joe Coyle and wife Charissa of New Haven, MO; one brother, Carter D. Hayward of East Haddam, CT; three grandchildren: Aster Coyle, Lydia & Nathan Coyle; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Donations in honor of Deborah Coyle can be made to the Franklin County Humane Society or Heifer International (heifer.org).
