David Steelman, 62, of Union, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at his home in the comforting presence of his loving wife and daughters.

On October 13, 1959, David was born to the union of Ralph Steelman and Frances (Johnson) in St. Louis, Missouri.

David was united in marriage to Karen (Wilkes) on April 25, 1987, in Breckenridge Hills, Missouri.

He was an avid photographer. David also enjoyed gazing into space and appreciating its many wonders. In his younger years he loved being outdoors, camping, fishing and going out on a boat or a float trip. Most of all, David loved spending time with his family especially his daughters. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Frances Steelman.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Karen Steelman of Union; three daughters, Elisa Steelman, Rebecca Steelman and Jessica Steelman all of Union; grand-dogs, Zeus and Jasmine; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations can be made to Mercy Hospice in Washington, Missouri in memory of David. The Steelman Family are grateful for the compassionate care and service provided to David and his family.
