David Noel Russell, 79, of Union passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 in St. Charles.

Mr. Russell, son of Karl Russell and wife Lillian nee Coram was born July 15, 1938 in Washington, D.C.

On October 5, 1994 he was united in marriage to Becky Lippold in Las Vegas, Nevada.

David served his country in active service for the United States Air Force and finished his military career with the National Guard.

He was a current member of the American Legion Post 297 in Union and the Union Moose Lodge.

David worked all over the country as a HVAC Technician.

He was an avid woodworker and was able to dedicate more time to the hobby after his retirement. He was known around town for refurbishing and making furniture for family and friends.

Mr. Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Lillian Russell; his son, David Russell Jr. and his brother, Karl Russell Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Russell of Union; three children, Mark Russell of Nelsonville, OH, Leah Krivel and husband Spencer of Salem, OR and Denise Russell of Maryland State; two grandchildren, Tiffany Ross and husband Eric of Ohio and Luke Krivel of Salem, OR; two great-grandchildren, Benjamin Ross and Helena Kay Ross; other relatives and many friends.
