Dave W. Steinberg, Sr., of Leslie, Missouri, passed away surrounded by his family Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 86 years. He was born May 13, 1939, in St. Louis County, Missouri; the son of William Steinberg and his wife, Mildred (Bruns).

Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He was just as happy mowing the grass as he was sitting on the porch enjoying a beer with family and friends. Dave had a great sense of humor and was known to be a bit of a prankster at times. Family was truly the center of Dave's life, and he and Gail (Winkler) were blessed to celebrate 65+ years of marriage.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mildred Steinberg; one son, Danny Steinberg; and two siblings, Rich Steinberg and Marilyn Mumm.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gail Steinberg, of Leslie; one son, Dave Steinberg, Jr., of Leslie; three grandchildren, Jenn Miner and husband Brian, Jake Steinberg, and Jess Greife and husband Wil; six great-grandchildren, Sophia, Natalie, Jordan, Carter, Samson, and Ender; and many other friends and relatives.
