Jesse David "Dave" Patton, 74, of St. Clair, Missouri, passed away on June 27, 2026, at Mercy Hospital Washington.

Born on September 26, 1951, in Washington, Missouri, Dave was the son of the late Jesse Donald Patton and Josephine (Parks) Patton. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a medical technician before returning home to work alongside his family as the owner of Patton Auto Salvage in St. Clair.

On December 10, 1998, Dave married the love of his life, Judith "Judi" Campbell, in St. Clair. Together they shared many happy years and a love for the outdoors.

Dave enjoyed fishing and spending time outside. He was happiest surrounded by nature and the people and animals he loved. His dogs, Tessa, Dozer, and Cricket, and his cats, Boo-Kitty, Bella, and Moselle, were very special to him and were truly part of his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judi Patton of St. Clair; his sister, Anita (Bob) Shepherd; his special friends, Wayne and Michelle Clower; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Dave was also a beloved uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Donald and Josephine (Parks) Patton.

In keeping with Dave's wishes, no services will be held.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love of the outdoors, his devotion to his family and friends, and the kindness he shared with those who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
