Daryl Wayne Wampler, 59, of Rosebud, MO passed away in the presence of his loving family at his home on Thursday, December 26, 2024.

Daryl, son of Jackie Wampler, Sr. and wife, Virginia (Pittman) Wampler, was born in St. Louis, MO on June 2, 1965. He was united in marriage to Tiesha Harris, in Steelville, on June 3, 1997. He was a member of the Calvery New Life Tabernacle in Gerald.

Daryl was a professional mechanic and had worked for Woody Bogler Logistics for eighteen years. He spent his spare time watching MMA fights, tinkering in his garage and enjoyed spending time with his many friends while he smoked or grilled food for their enjoyment. He was a collector of Native American artifacts, Hot Wheels and Zippo lighters. Most of all he enjoyed a good laugh and spending precious time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackie and Virginia Wampler; one son, Thomas "Robbie" Engel; and one sister, Sandy Wampler.

Daryl is survived by his wife of 27 years, Tiesha Wampler of Rosebud; two sons: David Wampler of Farmington, and Stephen Engel of St. Clair; two daughters: Mary Mitcham and husband Michael of Gerald, and Tifanie Wampler of Belle; one brother, Jackie Wampler, Jr. of Colorado; one sister, Wanda Johnson of Rosebud; twelve grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
