Darryl Jowels, 61 of St. Clair passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Jowels was born December 14, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois.
He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge.
On March 9, 2010 he was united in marriage to Lesa in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. He was a member of The Calvary Worship Center in St. Clair. Mr. Jowels own and operated his own business as an over the road truck driver. He was passionate about Kite Buggying and Flying Stunt Kites.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gradie and Vivian Jowels; three brothers, Edward Moran, Jimmy Moran and Dwayne Moran.
Mr. Jowels is survived by his wife Lesa Jowels of St. Clair; three sons, Darryl Jowels-Bedford of St. Louis, Kevin Bedford of St. Louis and Bryce Harris of Pennsylvania; two daughters, DeAnna Lashley and husband James of St. Clair and Donna Ford of Illinois; two brothers, Reginald Moran and wife Robin of Indianapolis, Indiana and Kevin Moran of California; three sisters, Debra Moran of California, Edith "Dusty" Scanlan of California and Claudia Moore of Nevada; five grandchildren, James Lashley II, Kevin Lashley, Alexandria Lashley, Azandria Bedford and Azaya Bedford; other relatives and many friends.
