Darrell Richard Lawson of Leslie, MO was born April 11, 1968, in St. Louis, MO; the son of Richard Lawson and his wife, Marjorie (Yount).  Darrell passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the age of 56 years.

Darrell was an outdoors guy. Anything that had to do with being outside in nature, he was in.  He loved hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and being on the river.  He also enjoyed watching sports, playing golf, and paintball.  Darrell also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. They meant everything to him, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Darrell was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lawson.

He is survived by his five children: Tayler Rickerson and husband Chris, Kaitlyn Breitenbach and husband Trevor, Carter Lawson, Chase Lawson, and Madie Lawson all of Union; his mother, Marjorie Lawson of Union; three siblings: Jason Lawson of Union, Regena Lawson of Villa Ridge, and Sonja Webb and husband Danny of Villa Ridge; four grandchildren: Norah Rickerson, Ava Rickerson, Eleanor Breitenbach, and Nolan Breitenbach; and many other relatives and friends.
