Darrell Spencer Kearns of Pacific, MO was born August 16, 1946 in Bonne Terre, MO; the son of Merlin Kearns and Viola (Gilliam) Madison. Darrell passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the age of 77 years.

He received his education from Crystal City High School in Crystal City, MO.  Darrell was united in marriage to Juanita (Caby) on June 8, 1995 in Pacific.  He was an active member of Crestview Christian Temple in Pacific.  Darrell was employed as a manager before retiring from Wal-Mart in 2008.  He enjoyed watching and playing sports, especially baseball and football.  The time Darrell cherished most was the time spent with his loving grandchildren, family, and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Merlin Kearns and Viola Madison.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Kearns of Pacific; two sons: Spencer Kearns and wife Michele of Festus, and Jack Eason of South County; two daughters: Carrie Davis and husband Joe of Festus, and Jackie Eason of Villa Ridge; five grandchildren: Ciara Juengain, Dasia Smith, Olivia Kearns, Gehrig Kearns, and Jada Eason; three sisters: Leila Ruess and husband Ronald of Pevely, Rebecca Ziegelmeyer and husband Daniel of Festus, and Joani Jones and husband Jeff of Festus; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorials in honor of Darrell Kearns can be made to the family for funeral expenses (c/o Jackie Eason).

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
