Obituary

Daniel H. Frossard, 81, of Washington, Missouri, passed away on March 20, 2026.

He was born on September 21, 1944, in St. Clair, Missouri, to the late Frank Frossard and Helen (Baldridge) Frossard.

On June 9, 1988, Dan was united in marriage to Bernice (Klymman) Frossard in Reno, Nevada at the Hitching Post. They shared many years together building a life centered around family.

Dan worked as a laborer in construction for many years. He enjoyed the simple things in life: fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time outdoors. He especially loved camping with his family and traveling across the United States in his fifth wheel, with Alaska being his favorite destination. Dan was also a member of the NRA and had a deep appreciation for country music, enjoying artists like Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, and Porter Wagoner.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice Frossard; two daughters, Eva Christ, and husband, Steven, of Hillsboro, Missouri, and Joyce Vonderhaar, and husband, Walter, of Union, Missouri; brother, Kenny Frossard of Washington, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Will (Maricza), Cody (Emily), Becca (Christopher), Emilie (Austin), Rylee (Hattie), Owen, Parker, Gus, and Rubee; and great-grandchildren, Chip and Mayleen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Helen Frossard; two brothers, Frank "James" Frossard, and Joe Frossard; four sisters, Virginia Ruessing, Mary Taylor, Edna Girardier, and Clara Zinselmeier; nieces and nephews, many friends, and other relatives.
