Daniel David Collier, 62, of Owensville, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Washington on Thursday, October 20, 2022.

Danny, as he was known to family and friends, was born to the union of Arthur Collier and Enola (Ruffner) on April 6, 1960, at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

He served in the U.S. Army as a tank operator.  He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, building model cars with his grandson and loved spending time with his beloved poodle, Alvin.  Most of all he cherished the time spent with his family, his grandchildren and being a taxi driver for his mother and sister.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Collier and one sister, Veronica Fowler.

Danny is survived by his mother, Enola Collier of Owensville; one daughter, Sara Brown of Union; one sister, Pamela Sheppard; two grandchildren, Gunner Brown and Maggie Brown of Union; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; his poodle, Alvin and many friends.
