Dana Catherine Vanderbilt of Washington, MO passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the age of 23 years.  Dana was born July 12, 2001, in Hampton, VA; the daughter of Chris Vanderbilt and his wife, Denise (Stauffer).

Dana was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant and volunteered at the Tri-County Community Senior Center in Pacific.  She was very artistic and enjoyed crocheting blankets, scarves, and painting. Dana's true love though was animals and nature.  She doted on her chickens and dogs.  She loved being outside, particularly by the water, and growing plants, vegetables, and fruit.  Dana had dreams of being a farmer one day where she could have all the plants and animals her heart desired.

She is survived by her parents, Chris and Denise Vanderbilt of Pacific, and two siblings: Kai Vanderbilt and Collin Vanderbilt, both of Pacific.

Memorial donations in honor of Dana Vanderbilt can be made to the Tri-County Community Senior Center in Pacific.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
