The Lord has called her home. In sorrow, we announce the passing of Cynthia Jo Daughhetee, 52, in Phoenix, Arizona. Cindy was born in Danville, Illinois on June 26, 1970 and grew up in Chrisman, Illinois. She graduated from Chrisman High School in 1988.

Following in her father's footsteps, she went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and then a Master of Accounting from Southern Illinois University and became a CPA. She was smart and fearless. She moved to Chicago, Illinois and as her career grew, she re-located to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Fairfax, Virginia, worked in London, England and eventually settled in Phoenix, Arizona. She loved the desert and made it her home.

Daughter of Joe and Marilyn Daughhetee, she is survived by both parents.

She loved to travel and spent time in Ireland, Italy and New Zealand enjoying every minute of it.

She was a marathon runner, loved to cook for friends and family and was a huge lover of dogs. She rescued Rhodesian Ridgebacks tirelessly for many years along with adopting many as her own starting with her beloved Sampson.
