Curtis James Pendleton, 54, of O'Fallon, passed away, Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis.

On May 16, 1969, Curtis was born to the union of Ronald Pendleton and Darlene (Mitchell) in St. Louis, Missouri.

Curtis was a graduate of St. Charles High School.

Curtis followed the beat of his own drum and set himself out to accomplish whatever he had his mind set on. He was a caring and kind person who helped anyone that he could. Curtis loved to go fishing, shoot pool and watching NASCAR. He was also a collector of antiques. Curtis also enjoyed tinkering with his jeep and riding his bike. Most of all, Curtis loved spending time with his family and friends when he was free. He will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin Pendleton.

Curtis is survived by his parents, Ronald and Darlene Pendleton of O'Fallon; one brother, Lance Pendleton and wife Carren of St. Charles; sister-in-law, Kelly Pendleton of St. Charles; four nieces, Amber Chin of St. Charles, Taylor Pendleton of St. Charles, Brooke Pendleton of St. Charles and Madison Pendleton of St. Charles; two nephews, Lane Pendleton and wife Maggie of Texas and Ryan Pendleton of St. Charles; other relatives and many friends.
