Craig "Hollywood" James Riegel, 62, of Washington passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 in St. Louis.

Craig, son of James Edward Riegel and wife Bonnie Lee (Wellenkamp) was born July 20, 1960 in Washington.

On October 8, 1983 he was united in marriage to Michelle Mills at St. Francis Borgia Church in Washington and was blessed with two children and two grandchildren.

Craig was employed as a truck driver at Supervalu in Hazelwood for 25 years. After Supervalu he went to Athena Engineering and Construction in Washington as a Dump Truck Driver and Heavy Equipment Hauler for another 3 years.

He was honored to participate in the Special Olympics Truck Convoy his work sponsored each year. He looked forward to the Oxfest in Washington where he donated his time to the setup and dismantle annually.

Craig especially loved to ride his Victory motorcycle as well as dirt bikes and ATV's. He enjoyed taking camping trips with his family and doing some fishing with his grandkids. Most of all he loved his family and grandchildren.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents, James "Jim" and Bonnie Riegel and his brother-in-law, Orville R. Mills and wife Cindy (Griffin).

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Riegel of Washington; two children, Nancy Lee Riegel of Washington and Cory James Riegel of Washington; two grandchildren, Rylan and Shealynn; three siblings, Chris Banks and husband John of Branson, Mark Riegel and wife Christine of Washington and Tim Riegel and wife Cheryl of Washington; two sisters-in-law, Cindy Luelf and husband Dave of Washington and Melissa Reynolds and husband Jason of Washington; nieces and nephews, Nicole Branscum and husband Kenny of Union, Jason Mills and wife Emily of Beaufort, Jamie Hearst and husband Paul of Washington, Jeremy Luelf and wife Olivia of Washington, Brittany Reynolds and special friend Dan of Washington, Brooke Reynolds and special friend Noah of Washington, London of Washington, Amanda Koch and special friend Rodney of Washington, Shawn Koch and wife Alex of Washington, Hailey Riegel and special friend Denny of Washington, Jordan Riegel of Washington State, Gabriel Riegel of Washington, Anna Banks of Branson and Dillon Banks of Branson; other relatives and many friends.
