Cory Muir, 52, of Cuba, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021, in St. Louis.

On February 5 ^th , 1969, Cory was born to the union of Richard Muir and Rebecca (Brown) in Washington.

Cory was a self-employed carpenter and craftsman. He repurposed barnwood and crafted beautiful home décor, furniture, accent pieces and sliding barn doors.

Cory loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He had a loving sense of humor and contagious laughter. He spent a lot of his time singing, playing guitar and cooking.

He is survived by his parents, Richard Muir and wife Terry of Bourbon, and Rebecca Maples and husband Terry of Cuba; three daughters, Amber Bade and husband Kent, Jr. of Marthasville, Alyssa Pate of St. Petersburg, Florida and Emma Muir of Spring Bluff; girlfriend, Saveda Mercer of Cuba; one brother, David Hendrix and wife Ashley of Waynesville; three sisters, Timberlee Minor and husband Jason of Cuba, Christa Peters and husband Doug of Villa Ridge and Donna Bates of Centralia; two grandchildren, Isabella Bade and Landon Bade; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
