Constance Renee Smith (Varvera) of St. Louis passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 24, 2025, in Bonne Terre at the age of 64. She was born January 13, 1961, in St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Shirley Varvera; and three sisters, Fran Varvera, JoAnne Durbeck, and Frances Cox.

Constance is survived by her spouse, Giovannia Smith, of St. Louis; one son, Michael Cross, of Branson; one daughter, Jamie Cross and wife Terri Langston, of Imperial; one brother, Jasper Varvera and wife Dana, of Oklahoma; one sister, Shirley Dvorak and husband Steve, of Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Joseph, Ethan, and Jimmie; other relatives and many friends.
