Cody Brian Armistead, beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the age of 22 years.
Despite the difficult, restricted circumstances of his final years, Cody's heart remained full of love for his family and hopes for his future. He was a young man who loved anything to do with the outdoors, music, and laughter. Cody was quite the character. He cherished the moments he could connect with those he loved.
Cody is survived by his mother, Victoria (Tori) Armistead, of St. Clair, and his father, Glenn Armistead, of St. Clair; his brother, Wyatt Bollinger, of High Ridge; his sister, Savannah Armistead, of New Haven; two grandmothers, Freda Brockman, of High Ridge, and Marjorie Armistead, of Hollister; three aunts, Liz Elliott, of Troy, Leslie Armistead, of Hollister, and Kristen Waters, of New Haven; one uncle, David Elliott, of Troy; and many nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Cecil and Irene Armistead; great-grandmother, Dorothy Aleshire; grandfather, Clayton Armistead; grandmother, Arlena Campbell; Gary Bollinger; aunts, Shari Webb and Heather Hemker; and brother, Paul Armistead.
While his life had trials, he is remembered for his resilience, humor, and spirit. May Cody find peace in his next life that he sought after in this one. He will be missed deeply by those who knew the man behind the mistakes.
