Clinton "Clint" Lopez, 33, of St. Clair, Missouri, will be remembered as a charismatic, kind-hearted man who lived fully and loved deeply. He passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Clint was born November 4, 1991, in Washington, Missouri, to Brad and Donna Lopez (Wedemeier). In 2023, he met Lillian Gildehaus, and what began as a long-distance connection quickly became a shared life in St. Clair with their two beloved dogs, Gunner and Snickers. Though still planning their wedding, Clint and Lillian were officially married on October 2, 2025—a day where a dry eye couldn't be found.

Clint will be remembered for his deep love of the outdoors: jet boating on the Meramec River, fishing, hunting, archery at Three D Archery in Catawissa, and backroad Jeep rides. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, reading, spicy meals, concerts, and quiet mornings or evenings with Lillian and their dogs—coffee in hand or a beer, depending on the hour.

He was a dedicated journeyman at Alberici and trustee with Carpenters Local #1839. Among friends, he was the guy who brought the laughs, the sarcasm, and just the right amount of mischief to every hangout.

Clint will be reunited with his beloved dog, Indy, and his grandparents, Fred Wedemeier Sr., Roque Lopez, and Wilda Lopez.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Lillian Gildehaus-Lopez; his parents, Brad and Donna Lopez; sister, Hannah Lopez; grandmother, Donna Wedemeier; one uncle, Fred C. Wedemeier, of Union; his dogs, Gunner and Snickers; and many other relatives and dear friends.

Clint's motto was simple: "You gotta want it!"
