Clara Ingersoll nee Rivas, 83, of Washington passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Washington.

Mrs. Ingersoll, daughter of the late Gus Rivas and wife Ava Rivas was born July 14, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas.

Clara attended Roosevelt High School in St. Louis.

Clara was united in marriage to Gene Ingersoll on October 20th, 1956 in St. Louis.

She worked at Washington University for 30 years as a Medical Transcriptionist.

Clara enjoyed art and sometimes creating her own as well. She loved her family as they were quite important to her. Clara also enjoyed working.

Mrs. Ingersoll was preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Ava Rivas; her husband, Gene Ingersoll; one brother, Edward Rivas and one sister, Helen Dillon.

She is survived by one son, Mark Ingersoll of Washington; one daughter, Karen Wildman and husband Chris of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Michael, Kristina and Daniel; other relatives and many friends.
