Christopher Allen York, 63, of Union, passed away in the presence of his family at Pacific Care Center on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

Chris, as he was known by family and friends, was born to the union of Richard York and Erma (Stancil) York, in St. Louis on Sunday, June 22, 1960.  He was united in marriage to Cheryl Mounts, Saturday, June 2, 1990, in Washington.

He was employed as shop manager at Klauber Machine & Gear in Pacific.  He loved fishing, throwing darts and was an avid golfer.  Most of all he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Erma York.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Mounts) York of Union; one son, Jordan York of Union; two daughters, Holly York of Lonedell, Morgan Strubberg and husband Shane of Washington; one brother, Randy York and wife Janet of St Clair; three grandchildren, Oliver York, Harper Strubberg, Harrison Strubberg; his parents-in-law, Charles and Anna Mounts of Gravois Mills; two brothers-in-law, Chris Mounts and wife Carrie of Union, Craig Mounts and wife Audrey of Gravois Mills; nieces; nephews; cousins and many friends.  He will be dearly missed by all.
