Christina Wright (Knoernschild), 51, of Augusta, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021, at her home.

On July 30, 1969, Christina was born to the union of Robert Knoernschild and Ellen (Gallagher) in St. Louis.

Christina was a graduate of Washington High School in 1986. She would then move on to earn her bachelor's degree in nursing from Webster University.

She was united in marriage to Michael Wright on November 21, 1987, in Augusta.

Christina worked as an R.N. at St. Luke's Hospital Urgent Care. She was also a member of the United Church of Christ in Augusta.

She enjoyed being outdoors going camping, boating and scuba diving. Christina loved tending to her flower garden. Most of all she loved spending time with her loving family and friends.

Christina was preceded in death by her father, Robert Knoernschild.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Michael Wright of Augusta; five sons, Joshua Wright and wife Julie of Washington state, Jeremy Wright of Oregon, Shane Wright of Kansas, Joe Wright and wife Katie of Union and Gabriel Wright and wife Hayley of Augusta; her mother, Ellen Knoernschild of Augusta; one brother, Karl Knoernschild and wife Katra of Chicago; four grandchildren, Aden Wright, Jace Wright, Keegan Wright and Landon Irwin; other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Ebenezer United Church of Christ 5548 Walnut Street, Augusta, Missouri 63332 are preferred.
