Cheryl Copeland, 72, of Union, previously of California, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021, in Washington.

On November 9, 1948, Cheryl was born to the union of Teddy Copeland and Jessie (Jameson) in Corona, California.

Cheryl graduated from Corona High School in 1966. She would later go to California State Fullerton and earn her bachelors in sociology.

She retired from Social Security after 40 plus years.

Cheryl loved spending time at the senior center. She enjoyed playing bingo, movies; specifically, "The Lord of the Rings", live theatre, crafting and sewing. Her family describes her as a very generous and charitable person.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Teddy Copeland and Jessie Burfeindt; one sister, Sara Hagen.

Cheryl is survived by two sisters, Marsha Burfeindt of New Mexico and Cecelia Copeland of Union; other relatives and many friends.
