Charles Robert Reichardt, 88, of Sullivan passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 in St. Clair.

Mr. Reichardt, son of the late Charles Reichardt and wife Mary nee farmer was born February 20, 1928 in Kirkwood, Missouri.

Mr. Reichardt served his country in the United States Navy as a Boatswain's Mate Third Class and received an honorable discharge on October 31, 1947.

He worked at Renz Truck Lines in Pacific for 30 years until retiring and going into farming on his own farm.

Mr. Reichardt was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Reichardt; his first wife, Dorothy Reichardt; one brother, John and two sisters, Genevieve and Edda.

He is survived by his wife Frieda Reichardt of Sullivan; three sons, Robert Reichardt and wife Carol of Pacific, Richard Reichardt and wife Margaret of Tomball, TX and Douglas Reichardt and wife Kim of Ballwin; one daughter, Linda Siess and husband Tony of Sullivan; one brother, Alfred Sucka and wife Jean of St. Louis; one sister, Mary Ellen Elbring of Kirkwood; eight grandchildren, Tiffany, Ami, Joanne, Marc, Katrina, David, Megan and Nathan; seven great-grandchildren; four step-children, Richard Leslie and wife Lynn of Eureka, Danny Leslie and wife Sharon of Kansas City, Elizabeth Graham and husband Terry of Catawissa and Steve Leslie and wife Sonia of Labadie; ten step-grandchildren, Errol, Alan, Julie, Katie, Kelly, Brandon, Ericka, Trent, Hannah and Kirstie; five step-great-grandchildren, Ashton, Dalton, Gabriel, Jude and Bryson; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
