Charles Blocker, 78 of Washington passed away Friday, July 24, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Blocker served his country in the United States Army for 22 years and retired as a Master Sergeant.
His service included two honorable tours of duty in Vietnam.
Mr. Blocker son of Alvin Blocker & Eva nee Hunter was born January 10, 1931 in Bloomfield, Missouri.
On October 7, 1954 he was united in marriage to Hazel Matthews in Junction City, Tennessee.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Alvin and Eva Blocker; his wife Hazel Blocker; two brothers, Russell Blocker and Jack Blocker; infant brother, Donald Blocker and infant sister, Gladys Blocker.
Mr. Blocker is survived by two sons, Gary Blocker and wife Karen of Bernie, Missouri and Jeffrey Blocker and wife Christine of Washington; three daughters, Judith Buddemeyer of Washington, Diane Beyreis and husband James of Union and Linda Ham and husband Mathew of Washington; three brothers, Alvin Blocker, Jr. and wife Janet of Pucixca, Missouri and Jess Blocker of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one sister, Irene Barker of Parma, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. .
