Carol Sue. Clonts (Landing), 78 of Washington formerly of Sullivan passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 at her home.

Carol, daughter of George Landing and wife Sophia (Woodcock) was born August 17, 1941 in Sullivan.

On December 19, 1960 she was united in marriage to Lyle "Ed" Clonts at Temple Baptist Church in Sullivan.

She received all her education, grades one through twelve in Sullivan. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Sullivan since June of 1978.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sophia Landing; her husband, Lyle "Ed" Clonts; two sons, Kurt Clonts and Kevin Clonts and one sister, Shirley Ann Landing.

She is survived by one son, Kent Clonts and wife Mary of Union; five grandchildren, Keshia Ann Goly and husband Tony of Sullivan, Kegan Clonts of Union, Kris Clonts of Washington, Korey Clonts of Washington and Shannon Lee of Washington State; five great grandchildren; niece, Ashley Eads of Rolla; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Donations to the American Cancer Association are preferred.
