Carl Robey, of Union, passed away at his home, in the presence of his loving family on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. He was born to the union of Don and Dorris (McKain) Robey on December 9, 1955, in Palembang, Indonesia, where his father was working at the time of his birth.

Carl enjoyed the outdoors, especially the Black River area in Missouri, where he loved to camp, fish and canoe or raft the river. These special times spent with his family will be fondly remembered. When he was not on the Black River, he enjoyed watching American Pickers and crime dramas, but most of all he cherished the times spent with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Dorris Robey; sister, Rosemary Brooks; brother, Barry Robey; parents-in-law, Kenneth and Lois Clemonds.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of forty-one years, Cindy (Clemonds) Robey; two daughters, Crystal Molloy and husband Adam of St. Peters, Heather Dinnius and husband Mike of Union; grandchildren, Max Dinnius, Paige Dinnius and Isaac Molloy; sister, Donna Robey-Sullivan and husband Gary; brother, Richard Robey and wife Diane; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Per Carl’s wishes, a private ceremony will be held at a later date.
