Carl William Machelett of Union, MO passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the age of 74 years. Carl was born February 1, 1951, in Washington, MO; the son of William Machelett and his wife, Mabel (Hoeft).

He was united in marriage to Dawnise "DC" Satterfield on April 7, 1973, and they were happily married for 44 years until DC's passing on January 24, 2018.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife, DC Machelett; his parents, William and Mabel Machelett; one brother, Billy Jean Machelett; and one sister, Linda Ulrey.

He is survived by his three children: Carl Wray Machelett and wife Brenda of St. Clair, Jason Machelett and wife Christina of Beaufort, and Kaylee Machelett of Union; six grandchildren: Noah Machelett, Hannah Machelett, Darrin Machelett, Bryson Machelett, Macey Machelett, and Ellis Machelett; four siblings: Wayne Machelett of Stoney Hill, Jim Machelett and wife Cheri of Union, Joe Machelett and significant other Darla Torborg of Beaufort, and Pam Helton of Cuba; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
