Carl J. Lohmann of St. Clair, MO passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the age of 86 years. He was born January 10, 1938, in St. Louis, MO; the son of Karl Lohmann and his wife, Elisabeth (Sauerland).

Carl received his education from Sullivan High School and proudly served in the United States Navy after graduation.  He was united in marriage to Lola "Mazie" (Roller) on October 7, 1972, at St. Clare Catholic Church in St. Clair, and the couple worked side by side for many years on their farm. Carl also worked at General Motors until his retirement.  It was the simple things in life that Carl loved most: working, farming, and spending time with Mazie.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mazie Lohmann on July 29, 2024; his parents, Karl and Elisabeth Lohmann; and one sister, Betty (Oscar) Viehland.

He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
