Brenda Ann (Bennett) Maune of Leslie, MO was born September 8, 1949 in St. Louis, MO; the daughter of Russell Bennett and his wife, Eldora Porter.  Brenda passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 in the comfort of her home at the age of 74 years.

Brenda had a great sense of humor and always had a way of making people laugh and cheering others up.  She was quite spunky and had no trouble speaking her mind.  She enjoyed bird watching, dancing, and traveling. She cherished the vacation trips she made with her girls, Amy and Julie.  She loved spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Eldora Bennett; and three siblings: Russell, Laura, and Lynn.

She is survived by her life-long partner, Donald Hess of Leslie; three daughters: Julie Sparks of Leslie, Amy Maune of Jefferson City, and April Campbell of Gerald; three sons: Mark Maune of Jefferson City, David Maune of St. Peters, and Walter Hess of Leslie; two sisters: Joan and Cheryl; nine grandchildren: Alex, Zach, Sarah (Jacob), Sam, Joshua, James, Amber, Audrey, and DJ; three great-grandchildren: Kevin, Gemma, and Addison; and many other friends and relatives.
