Brenda Jo Hoke of Union, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her children on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the age of 66 years. She was born January 30, 1959, in St. Louis, Missouri; the daughter of Joseph Hoke and Joanne (Bowman) Brewer.
Brenda worked for 21+ years in information technology at FedEx before her retirement in 2018. She had a deep love of God and her country. She was a strong Christian woman of faith and leaned on the Lord. She was also a passionate patriot who supported the military any chance she had. She was an extremely proud mother of her two sons who served in the United States Air Force. Brenda loved her family and friends, and cherished the time spent with her beloved grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Hoke and Joanne Brewer; one son, Steven Knoblock; and two brothers-in-law, John Spencer and Luke Switzer.
She is survived by three children, Shawn Knoblock and wife Kirsten, of Wentzville, Shane Knoblock and wife Olivia, of Derby, Kansas, and Natosha Kearns and husband Bradley, of Union; eight grandchildren, Savannah (Nate) Salinas, Rebecca (Clay) Richards, Amanda (Tyler) Silk, Clara Knoblock, Alex Knoblock, Clayton Knoblock, Ethan Robinson, and Allie Robinson; two great-grandchildren, Louis Silk and Bocephus Salinas; three siblings, Joseph Hoke, of Sullivan, Julie Spencer, of Denham Springs, Louisiana, and Annie Switzer, of Cuba; extended family, Jimmy Robinson, of Union; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held October 11, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Meramec State Park (Pavilion 2) in Sullivan, Missouri.
