Obituary

Bonnie Faye (Willard) Bane of Pacific, MO was born June 13, 1943 in Dyer County, TN; the daughter of Robert Willard and his wife, Lillie Mae (Bradley). Bonnie passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 surrounded by her family at the age of 80 years.

Bonnie received her education from Dyersburg High School in Dyersburg, TN.  She was united in marriage to Joe Bane on January 7, 1960 and two children blessed their union.  She was employed as a cook at Rockwood High School before taking time off to raise her children.  Bonnie then worked at Cunningham-Mallard Funeral Home in Eureka for 15 years.  She was a prior member of Central Baptist Church in Eureka, and a current member of The Ridge Church in Villa Ridge.  Bonnie loved cooking and quilting.  She was an active member of both the Tuesday morning quilting club and Wednesday night dinners at her churches.  She was also the nursery director for over 20 years at Central Baptist Church.  Bonnie cherished spending time with her family and friends, and she will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lillie Mae Willard; one son, Tim Bane; and five siblings: Robert "Ross" Willard, Leroy Willard, Odessel McDowell, Christine Grizzle, and Rosie Smith.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Joe Bane of Pacific; one daughter, Suzette Lewis and husband Charles of Villa Ridge; one granddaughter, Shelly Frye and husband Devin of Villa Ridge; one brother, Houston Willard and wife Jeanine of Keizer, OR; one sister, Charlene "Susie" Hinson of Dyersburg, TN; and many other relatives and friends.
