Bonita "Bonnie" Edwards, 52, of Sullivan, passed away, Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.

Bonnie was born on June 13, 1970, in St. Louis to the union of Frank R. Edwards and Carolyn E. (Swanstrom).

Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she very much-loved spending time with them. Bonnie was an excellent baker and talented guitar player in her own right. She had a strong faith and enjoyed reading her bible. Most of all, Bonnie cherished her time with family and friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Frank R. Edwards; paternal grandparents, Frank T. and Christine (Gentry) Edwards; nephew, Jack D. Cable.

She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Edwards of Leslie; son, Joseph Michael Edwards of St. Clair; daughter, Kayla Christine Vernice Edwards of St. Clair, one brother, Franklin J. Edwards and wife Hope of St. Clair; two sisters, Marolyn Pinnell and husband Adam of Leslie and Christine Marie Cable and husband Jon of Lonedell; three grandchildren, Izabella Jones, Kayla Jones and Jadynn Jones; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
