Bobby Hawkins 67 of Union passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009 in Union, Missouri.

Mr. Hawkins son of the late Edna Hawkins was born January 19, 1942 in Alton, Missouri.

On September 2, 1961 he was united in marriage to Julia Ford in Alton, Missouri.

Mr. Hawkins was a member of the First Baptist Church of Villa Ridge. Bobby loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Bobby was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Hawkins; father-in-law, Christopher Ford; mother-in-law, Gladys Ford; two sisters, Elaine Sisco and Doris Jean Eckmann; brother-in-law, Howard Sisco.

Mr. Hawkins is survived by his wife Julia Hawkins of Union; one son, Bobby Hawkins and wife Christine of Florissant; one daughter, Chrissy Jackson and husband Floyd of Union; one brother, Ray Hawkins and wife Patsy of Batesville, Arkansas; mother-in-law, Ina Ford of Rolla; two brothers-in-law, Follis Ford and wife Caroline and Phil Ford and wife Jeanine both of Rolla; two sisters-in-law, Pat Brummett and husband Wally of Rolla and Joyce Shehorn and husband Ron of Alton, MO; six grandchildren, Bobby Hawkins of Edwardsville, IL, Christal Parker and husband Joe of Union, Britney Jackson and fiancé Kent Egli of Union, Kaila Jackson of Union, Courtney Necker of Florissant and Kelsey Necker of Florissant; two great-grandchildren, Aliza and Jackson Parker of Union; many close family and friends.
