Billy Ray Fischer, 80, of Union passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 in New Haven.

Billy, son of Henry Fischer and wife Pearl (Rogers) was born November 25, 1941 in Washington.

On April 20, 1961 he was united in marriage to Margaret Comfort in Juarez, Mexico.

Billy proudly served his country in the United States Army receiving an honorable discharge.

He worked as an Over the Road Truck Driver for many years until finishing his career owning his own company Gunner Trucking.

He was a member of the American Legion in California.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Pearl Fischer; his wife, Margaret Fischer; three brothers, Henry Alvin "Butch" Fischer Jr., Larry "Gino" Fischer and Herbert Leroy Fischer and one sister, Shirley Drusch.

He is survived by two sons, Billy Joe Fischer of New Haven and Johnny "Bubby" Ray Fischer and wife Michelle of Washington; one daughter, Mychel Lorene Fischer of Ballwin; two brothers, Robert Fischer of Owensville and Ronnie Fischer and wife Patsy of Gerald; five grandchildren, Joey, Brandi, Johnny "Bodi", Britni and Chace; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations to the family are preferred.
