Billy Clyde Downey, 23, of St. Clair, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at his home.

On December 1, 1995, Billy was born to William Downey and wife Elaine (Brooks) in St. Louis.

Billy enjoyed playing video games, hanging out with his friends, going out to eat and riding four-wheelers. Billy also enjoyed working on cars and being outdoors.

Billy was preceded in death by his grandfather, Irvin Brooks.

Billy is survived by his parents, William and Elaine Downey of St. Clair; three brothers, Robert Downey of St. Clair, Travis Downey and wife Bridget of St. Clair and Nicholas Downey of St. Clair; one sister, Emily Downey and significant other Jon Ryan of St. Clair; his grandmother, Ada Brooks of Leadwood; two nephews, Jonathan Ryan and Eli Ryan; one niece, Nattilee Manion; three good friends, Josh Ziegler, Zach Banderman and Brett Downey; two dogs, Fluffy and Bandit; other relatives and many friends.
