Bill Dewayne Edwards, 73 of Washington passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 in Washington.

Mr. Edwards, son of the late Jesse James Edwards and wife Nora Frances nee Jackson was born August 11, 1939 in Kennett, Missouri.

On June 14, 1958 he was united in marriage to Mary Zinn in Union City, Tennessee. He loved painting of all kind, gardening and visiting the casino. Mr. Edwards was a Welder and member of the Boilmakers Union and retired from Cummings Welding in 2002.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Nora Edwards.

Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife Mary Edwards of Washington; one son, Floyd Edwards and wife Elizabeth of St. Peters; two daughters, Genevieve Gibson and husband Clifford of Apache Junction, AZ and Dixie Schuster and husband John of St. Ann, MO; one brother, Charles Edwards and wife Virginia of Cahokia, IL; two sisters, Nova Farrell of Centerville, IL and Becky Smith of St. Louis; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
