Beverly Kay Armstrong (Kimmel), 78, of Washington passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at her home.

Beverly, daughter of Geraldean (Malmberg) and Walter Kimmel was born February 21, 1944 in St. Louis, MO.

Beverly loved adventures and enjoyed camping and canoeing many destinations as she traveled the country.  She had a love for all animals and had a special knack for training dogs.  She enjoyed visiting the Zoo and any other venue with animals.  She enjoyed spending time with all children, but there was a special place in her heart for her grandkids and she was always excited to take them with her on trips both near and far. She was over the moon when her great-granddaughter was born on her birthday.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Geraldean (Malmberg) and Walter Kimmel, and her son in infancy, Jeffrey Scott.

She is survived by two children, Bryant Armstrong and wife Diana of Waynesville, MO and Robin Armstrong and husband Jared Davis of Colorado Springs, CO.; three grandchildren, Travis Armstrong and wife Candice, Alexander Armstrong, and Duncan Armstrong; one great-granddaughter, River; and other relatives and many friends.

In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated with private graveside services held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Jennings, MO at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Franklin County Humane Society are preferred.
