Betty "Sam" Wiseman of Beaufort, MO passed away peacefully Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the age of 59 years.

Sam was born in Kennett, MO on July 8, 1965; the daughter of Charles Henson and Betty (Reynolds). She received her grade school education from Grandview in Ware, MO and later graduated from Hillsboro High School. She was united in marriage to Billy Wiseman on October 9, 1993 at the Church of Christ in Desoto, MO. Sam was a former member of the Beaufort Lions Club and Member of Certified Nationally Grown and Known & Grown Program. She and Billy worked together on their farm, Sunflower Savannah Farm. Their organic farm focused on specialty crops such as heirloom tomatoes and they sold their crops at Tower Grove Market for over 23 years. They also raised sheep, Cayuga ducks and chickens together. Farming was Sam's passion, and she was extremely proud of the work she and Billy did together. Billy and Sam took volunteers from the Wolfe Program to help train them with skills for future farming. She enjoyed snorkeling, fishing and traveling anywhere that had a beach. Sam proudly served her country in the United States Navy.

Sam was preceded in death by her father, Charles Henson.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Wiseman of Beaufort; her mother, Betty Henson of Beaufort; one daughter, Nina Wiseman of NC; one sister, Charli Craven and husband Joey of Arnold; two grandchildren; niece and nephews; Scout Craven, Alyx Trigg, and Andrew (Madonna) Craven; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Life will be held 6-9 p.m. on Thur., Dec. 5, 2024 at Beaufort Lions Club 2041 Lutheran Church Rd., Beaufort, MO 63013
