Betty Jean Martinez's Obituary
Betty Jean Martinez nee Dueker, 77, of Labadie passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Martinez, daughter of Wesley Dueker and wife Sophie nee Spier was born April 1, 1940 in Red Bud, Illinois.
On September 18, 2004 she was united in marriage to Robert Martinez at the American Legion Hall in Pacific.
She worked for Super 8 Motel as a Traveling Manager until her retirement in 2004.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #347 in St. Clair.
Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Sophie Dueker; her son, Keith Volner and one sister, Judy Goetting.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Martinez of Labadie; three children, Kevin Volner and wife Michelle of Waterloo, IL, Leisa Skiles and husband William of Labadie and James Volner of New London, IA; two step-children, Richard Bell and wife Mary of Lonedell and Carmin Ardeans of Colorado; one brother, Wesley Dueker and wife Carol of Red Bud, IL; two sisters, Barbara Mehring and husband Richard and Ruthie Nagel and husband Kenny both of Red Bud, IL; nine grandchildren, Brock, Brian, Clayton, Amber, Samantha, Ashley, Zach, Andrew and Dillion; five step-grandchildren, Heather, Laura, Richard, Melissa and Penny; fifteen, great-grandchildren; six, step-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.Funeral Services for Betty Jean Martinez
