Betty Lee (Powell) Hamilton of Eureka, MO was born March 8, 1947, in St. Louis, MO; the daughter of Cecil Powell and Minnie (Compton) Powell. Betty passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at the age of 78 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Powell and Minnie Powell; one daughter, Tammy Snyder; four granddaughters: Tina Hamilton, Jordan Light, Audrey Light, and Carley Light; and two brothers: Cecil Powell, Jr. and Billy Powell.

She is survived by four children: Chris Hamilton and wife Lisa of Eureka, Wanda Hamilton and husband Jimmy Ganner of Washington, Marty Light and wife Monica of Union, and Marsha Crider of St. Clair; eleven grandchildren: Nathan (Lindsey) Hamilton, Nick (Sam) Hamilton, Nichole (Drew Williams) Hamilton, Tonya Crabtree, Michael Crabtree, Brandy Light, Carter Light, Noah Hamilton, Creeden Hamilton, Liam Hamilton, and Jaydon Hamilton; thirteen great-grandchildren: Brooke, Christopher, Remi, Zoey, Chloe, Paisley, Mason, Jream, Riley, Liam, Giana, Josiah, and Jaxson; extended family: Robin, James, and Charlene Hawkins; and many other relatives and friends.
