Obituary

Betty Ann (Swaringam – Harper) Eoff, 78, of St. Clair passed away surrounded by her children on March 21, 2017 in Washington, Missouri.

Mrs. Eoff, daughter of the late Alfred James Swaringam and wife Lydia Wanderine nee Henderson was born August 31, 1938 in Cape Girardeau.

Betty lived a life full of faith and family. She was the mother of 3 children and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Union. Betty spent the most of her years living in DeSoto, until 2016 when she moved to St. Clair with her daughter Connie and son in law Joel.

Betty was known as a caring, giving and compassionate person. She was always excited to share her time with friends and family. If the opportunity arose for a sing-a-long, she would be the first to gather everyone to join in. Whether it was singing songs to her grandchildren on the front porch swing of her farmhouse or singing along to one of her favorite songs, you could always rely on Betty to turn any moment in life into a melody.
