Bernard Unnerstall

Bernard Unnerstall, of St. Clair, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the age of 63. He was born to the union of Earl and Elsie (Sohn) Unnerstall, in Washington, on April 24, 1963.

He was a self-employed tree trimmer, working in Franklin and surrounding counties. His love for the outdoors led him to his profession and to his hobbies of fishing or hunting whenever he found the opportunity.

Bernard was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Elsie Unnerstall.

He is survived by his two sisters, Jeanine Lewis and husband Delbert of St. Clair, Erlene Ellert and husband Jim of St. Clair; other relatives and many friends.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date,
