Bennie Carl Stahlman, 76, of St. Clair, passed away, Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.

On October 14, 1946, Bennie was born to the union of William Stahlman and Helen (Redhage) in Union, Missouri.

Bennie attended St. Clair School District.

He was an avid outdoorsman and loved deer and turkey hunting. Along with other outdoors activities, Bennie also enjoyed metal detecting and root digging. In his younger years he loved helping around the farm.

Bennie was preceded in death by his parents, William and Helen Stahlman; two brothers, Charles Stahlman and David Stahlman.

He is survived by his son, Ben Stahlman and significant other Angie Komo of St. Clair; three stepsons, Tony Cable and wife Cheryl of Fenton and Roy "Dallas" Cable of Union and Jon Cable and wife Christy of Lonedell; three brothers, Walter Stahlman of St. Clair, Randy Stahlman and wife Cindy of Sullivan and James Stahlman of St. Clair; sister, Catherine Wideman and husband David of St. Clair; two grandchildren, Ezekiel Stahlman and Tina Stahlman; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
