Benjamin "Ben" Downey of St. Clair, MO was born June 24, 1966 in Washington, MO; the son of Elmer Downey and his wife, Maudie (Sohn).  Ben passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the age of 57 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Maudie Downey; and two sisters: Carolyn DeClue and Paula Downey.

Ben is survived by his significant other, Lisa Jenkins of St. Clair; two brothers: William Downey and wife Elaine, and Ed Downey, all of St. Clair; three sisters: Sandy Tyrey of St. Clair, Sharon Rice and husband Tom of Cuba, and Tina Downey of St. Clair; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Memorials in honor of Ben Downey can be given to the family for funeral expenses (c/o Lisa Jenkins).

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
