Obituary

Barbara "Bobbie" Julius (Owens), 72, of Lonedell passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 in St. Clair.

Barbara, daughter of Eldo Owens and wife Orpha (Rodgers) was born February 7, 1949 in Washington.

Barbara enjoyed golf and bowling and was the first women to be nominated into St. Louis Bowling Hall of Fame. She was a member of the Elk's Club in Washington.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Eldo and Orpha Owens; her daughter, Lynette Julius; one grandson, Ben Julius and special friend, Marty Averbeck.

She is survived by her two children, Scott Julius and wife Christine of Lonedell and Paul Julius and wife Kay of Union; three siblings, Alberta Gwin and husband Jim of Scott City, Chris Meyer of Union and Dolores "Dody" Maciejewski and husband Dan of Union; four grandchildren, Cameron Julius, Tyler Julius, Brandon Julius and Bobbi Jo Julius; three step-grandchildren, Samantha Pope, Christopher Gills and Jason Pope Jr.; great-granddaughter, Karly; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations to Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association are preferred.
